Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas have a lot to offer our guests.
Whether you like walking, theatre, places of interest, eating out or events there is usually something going on that might appeal to you. A few of the options are listed opposite.

Althorp House, ancestral home of the Spencer family and final resting place for Diana, Princess of Wales (if you want to visit the House it is open from 1st July until 30th August 2009). The pre-purchase of tickets is NOT now required.
Just a short journey away In Northampton is the Royal and Derngate Theatre offering a wide range of entertainment (and pantomime at Christmas of course)
Brixworth
Church, built in 680ad, stands on a hill overlooking the village and is said
to be one of the oldest Saxon Churches in Europe.

A little further afield you will find Sulgrave Manor, the UK ancestral home of the Washington family.
Milton Keynes (great shopping experience) and the world class 'Stables' music and entertainment venue (home to legendary musicians Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine)
Among the major events is the Northampton Balloon Festival, now in its 19th year and taking place in 2009 between 14-16 August at Billing Aquadrome
About 21 miles away is the Silverstone Circuit. The British Grand Prix last took place between 17-19 June 2009 but there are plenty of other exciting race meetings held here throughout the year.
In addition to the above there are plenty of public footpaths for the walkers among our guests! Almost right on our doorstep is Pitsford reservoir incorporating Brixworth Country Park. This joint venture between Anglian Water, Northamptonshire County Council and Toc H provides accessible leisure facilities all year round.
